Super Easy Easter Brownie Pie

Easter to us is a celebration of a Spring and rebirth! This celebration isn’t complete without our family’s favourite, Brownie Pie with an Easter twist, crushed Mini Eggs. If you love buttery pie pastry and you’re fan of a gooey chocolate brownie, you’re going to love this sweet & savoury, Easter-themed Mini Egg Brownie Pie!

Super Easy Easter Brownie Pie

Takes 30 minutes. Serves 6 people

Ingredients:

🌷 1 large frozen pie shell (regular, not deep dish)
🌷 1 box of brownie mix (might require 1 egg, vegetable oil and water)
🌷 2 small packs of Mini Eggs, crushed
🌷 Vanilla ice cream on the side

Directions

Warm oven to 350 degrees or as specified on Brownie Mix box. In a medium sized bowl, make the brownie batter as directed on the box. Pour batter into pie shell. Top with crushed Mini Eggs.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pie crust is golden brown and when you stick a toothpick into the outer edges (not centre) the tooth pick comes out clean, not goopy.

Don’t overcook the brownie, you’ll want it to be soft, but not drippy.

Let it cool for 15-20 minutes then slice up and serve with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Enjoy!
