My name is Amanda Breen, I’m the Editor-In Chief of TheUrbanMom.ca. I am a dedicated writer, photographer, videographer. With a passion for sharing stories, I create content for TheUrbanMom.ca, my social media platforms and partner with companies to adapt my content for their own platforms. With my family of 5, we share experiences, tips and ideas that empower moms to live a healthy and active lifestyle, and make memories with their families right here in British Columbia.
Our mission is to inspire and empower mothers by providing them with valuable information and ideas to cultivate a balanced, experiential life. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to diversity in storytelling – proudly representing a biracial family, with my Filipino-Canadian background influencing our exploration of Filipino traditions and the delectable cuisine I grew up with.
With a foundation in Marketing, Advertising and PR and a previous 12-year career in Broadcasting, I recognize the significance of authenticity, being “on brand” and being a positive brand ambassador. My expertise lies in working collaboratively with clients to share their unique story and valuable offerings.
My skills include: photography, video production and copywriting.
